STEM Teacher Wanted for Fun Summer STEM Camps! Sylvan Learning Center is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to help and inspire students.
We are currently looking for applicants with experience teaching STEM classes.

Sylvan will provide training on our curriculum and how to teach robotics, coding, and engineering classes using our materials
You will use pre-planned lessons that are straightforward, easy to manage, and fun to teach.
And, we encourage your input to the lessons or suggestions for new classes as appropriate

Essential Job Functions
Prepare for each instructional session; Gather and prepare materials as appropriate
Greet students and initiate instruction to personally engage each student
Instruct students according to the design of the Sylvan programs
Manage students, tasks, and time to create a balanced and robust instructional session
Communicate the progress of students to parents on a daily basis through emails
Use praise and encouragement to ensure students are engaged and inspired to learn
Manage the conclusion of each instructional session and clean up time
Support procedures to ensure student safety and well-being
Communicate specific student needs to Center staff
Complete certification training on each Sylvan program taught to students
Job Requirements
Teaching Credential or camp experience recommended
Qualified candidate will be interested in pursuing a degree in education and/or STEM related field.

Candidate must be energetic, enthusiastic about STEM, and love working with students.
Being punctual is extremely important.
You must be local and have reliable transportation.
Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task and work independently.
