Primary Job Requirements: * 1+ years of demonstrated success as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Active FL MLO license preferred, at minimum 1 yr of being a registered MLO with the ability to obtain a FL license within 2 months of hire is required.
* Driven, motivated, optimistic, warm, responsive, self-starter with a history of sales success and cooperative personality.
* Success in managing the mortgage process, monitoring a sales pipeline, meeting sales expectations, getting referrals, and generating new business opportunities * Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to effectively strategize and find creative solutions * Must be a sales professional – Collaborate, build and maintain relationships with Realtors, Builders, and other referral sources * Team player available during standard working hours as well as weekends if needed * Act with discretion and care by dealing honestly and ethically with borrowers, partners, and employees * Work directly with borrowers in qualifying, pulling credit, running AUS, pricing loans, collecting documents, determining eligibility and managing expectations * Ability to work with pre-screened inbound leads and manage them by phone, email, text and CRM * This is mostly a Remote position; however the candidate will be required to attend monthly in-office meetings, weekly online sync sessions as determined by leadership, and local area functions (networking, chamber, open house events) as scheduled.
This position is based in Destin, Florida, Candidate must reside or be able to relocate to the area.
